Days & Hours:

Monday to Friday: 3 hours per day.

Additional hours: Full-day hours may be available for a Sennie on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

This role is suitable for 1–2 applicants, with the hours potentially shared between two people.

Essential Skills/Traits:

2+ years of SEN experience with Autistic teenagers, particularly those with demand avoidance
Qualified or highly experienced tutor — able to teach GCSE Maths, English and Science (additional subjects a real bonus)
Understanding of dyslexia and generalised anxiety disorder — able to adapt teaching approaches accordingly
Genuinely skilled at low demand, interest-led learning — no tests, no pressure, no forcing
Patient, kind and funny — someone B13 will actually want to spend time with
Energetic and active — a love of football, athletics or outdoor activities will go a long way
Able to build confidence gradually and gently — particularly around academic self-belief
Understanding that progress may not look linear — and that some days getting outside is the biggest win
Comfortable around dogs, cats and reptiles
Driver is preferred for getting B13 out and about is an important part of the role not a deal breaker!
