Days & Hours:

Term time: Mon, Wed, Thu & Fri — 3:30pm to 6:30pm

School holidays: 2–3 days per week, approx. 6 hrs/day (specific days agreed in advance)

Essential Skills/Traits:

Experience supporting non-speaking Autistic children — confident, patient and genuinely at ease.
Understanding of non-speaking and alternative communication — basic Makaton knowledge essential
Understanding of sensory processing differences — able to read and respond to sensory cues confidently.
Familiar with or willing to learn positive behaviour support and low-demand approaches.
Ability to follow established routines consistently — routine is central to B7's sense of security.
Excellent observational skills — tuned in to body language and changes in B7's regulation.
Creative and resourceful in planning engaging, screen-free activities suited to B7's interests and energy levels.
Strong safeguarding awareness and ability to work independently with initiative
