Role 1 — SEN Nanny:

Monday–Friday, 7:30am–6:30pm (55 hrs/week)

Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:00pm (40 hrs/week)

Essential Skills/Traits:

2+ years of SEN childcare or therapeutic support experience
Strong understanding of Autism, PDA and demand avoidance — low demand approach essential
Experience supporting children with EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) and anxiety
Calm, emotionally regulated and grounded — able to create psychological safety
Skilled in co-regulation and understanding of neurodivergent nervous systems
Patient, trustworthy and able to build relationships slowly on the child's terms
Able to engage children through humour, shared interests and genuine connection
Comfortable with a flexible, child-led approach — not behaviour compliance focused
Understanding of sensory processing and sensory integration needs
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team with parents, another nanny and wider professionals
