Essential Skills/Traits:

Proven experience supporting Autistic children and/or children with ADHD — calm, patient and genuinely at ease
Understanding and use of AAC devices and Makaton — confident using alternative communication approaches daily
Understanding of sensory processing differences — able to read G10's sensory needs and respond appropriately
Awareness of PICA and food safety vigilance — G10 may mouth or ingest non-food items
Familiar with ABA-informed approaches, positive reinforcement and visual support strategies
Confident maintaining clear, consistent routines and boundaries — structure is central to G10's wellbeing
Creative and proactive in planning active, exciting activities suited to a sensory-seeking adventurer
Light household duties associated with the children and general activities around the children
Full UK driving licence— essential for school runs, activities and community outings (car provided for use with children).
Travel with the family to Croatia mid July - early September during yearly visits
Genuinely committed to a long term placement
