Essential Skills/Traits:

Proven experience supporting toilet training in children with Autism — this is an essential requirement for this role
Familiarity with or willingness to work within a structured toilet training programme (the family use Clear Steps Consulting resources)
2+ years of SEN childcare experience, ideally with pre-verbal or early verbal Autistic children
Confident and consistent in modelling language throughout the day — supporting early vocabulary development in everyday activities
Patient, warm and playful — able to engage a young child in music, books, drawing, painting and garden play
Calm and adaptable — happy to follow B3's lead and keep energy levels positive throughout the day
Comfortable around cats
Available for the full 4-week placement: 7 August – 1 September 2026
