- Role 2 - Approx £32,766 per annum gross

Role 1
- Monday - Friday: 7.30am - 1.30pm
Role 2
- Monday - Thursday: 1.15pm - 8.15pm
- Fridays: 10am - 6pm
Start Date: ASAP
Who would suit this role:
- Has experience working with young people with Cerebral Palsy and Global Developmental Delay or is eager to learn and receive training.
- Is patient, compassionate, and encouraging, with a genuine desire to help B17 build confidence and independence.
- Is proactive and enthusiastic, capable of creating engaging experiences that align with B17’s interests, such as transport, history, and libraries.
- Can support B17 in developing life skills using Occupational Therapy tools to promote independence at home and in the community.
- Is comfortable providing reassurance and structure, especially when B17 experiences anxiety in unfamiliar situations.
- Enjoys outings and community activities, helping B17 navigate the community, visit places of interest, and make independent choices about his day.
- Has excellent communication skills and is open to using Makaton to support B17’s speech and language development.
- Is a positive role model, helping B17 increase his autonomy while making appropriate choices that improve his quality of life.
- Works well within a team, collaborating with therapists, case managers, and B17’s family to ensure consistency in his care and development.
- Is flexible and adaptable, able to follow structured routines while also being creative in tailoring activities to B17’s needs.
- Has a warm and engaging personality, fostering a trusting relationship where B17 feels safe, supported, and motivated to reach his full potential.
