Sennie (SEN SPECIALIST/NANNY) for B16, B11 & B9
 
Additional needs present: Autism, ADHD, PDA, Sleep Disorder & Sensory Sensitivities
 
Location: Kensal Green / Harlesden NW10
 
Wage / Salary:
Approx. £31200 - £34,000 per annum gross depending on experience.
- Additional £3000 per year overtime if the candidate is available for babysitting
- (equates to £34,200 - £37,000 gross)
 
Driver: Essential -with clean licence
 
Live in/out: Live out
 
Pets: 1 small Dog (very gentle & adorable!)
 
Days & Hours: 
Term Time
● Monday - Thursday : 3 pm - 9.3 0pm
● Friday: 3pm - 7pm
● Additional 12.5 hours per month of babysitting available, paid as overtime (Ideally 2 late Friday finishes per month)
School Holidays
Monday – Friday
● 6.5 hours each day, agreed in advance by both the Sennie and Family
 
Start Date: Ideally, Mid June
 
Essential Skills/Traits:
Minimum 2 years of SEN childcare experience, specialising in Autism, Sensory Processing Challenges, and ADHD
Resides locally (maximum 45-minute commute)
Able to commit long-term
Personable, empathetic and fun-loving demeanour with a calming presence
Resilience, flexibility, and adaptability to meet evolving family needs
Experienced in handling Emotional Dysregulation, Anxiety, and Sleep challenges
Capable of implementing and providing ongoing support for children's bedtime routines
Engaging and detail-oriented, confident in liaising with OTs, CAHM’S and other specialists
Recognition that all child behaviour serves as communication
Willingness to undergo necessary training provided by SENNIES and external trainers
Highly organised with the ability to establish routines and structures, while remaining flexible
Prior experience implementing reward charts, Now and Next and visual timetables
 
Desirable Experience or Willingness to Train In:
Conflict resolution
Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
Trauma-Informed Care
