This service aims to provide families with flexible and customised childcare support, catering to their specific needs on a part-time basis.
By partnering with an employment company, we have simplified the employment process, ensuring that clients, Sennies and SENNIES can focus on what truly matters – exceptional care for your child.
At SENNIES, we understand that every family has unique requirements, and our part-time Sennie service offers the flexibility you need to balance work and home life. If you take on a part-time Sennie through our new service, you will not be required to pay a final placement fee, instead, you will pay a fixed hourly rate of £32 per hour to SENNIES, which includes all costs associated, and we take care of the rest!
To help you better understand this service, let's have a closer look at the key details:
Introductory Agency: SENNIES acts as an introductory agency, connecting families with part-time Sennies who have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN). Once we've placed a Sennie into your part-time role, our employment partner will take on all employment-related costs and responsibilities.
Sennie Selection and Probation Period: We carefully select Sennies with experience in SEN childcare, ensuring they are well-equipped to support your child. During the 2-week probation period, you have the flexibility to terminate the employment of the Sennie with 24 hours' notice if needed.
Notice Period: After the probation period, we require 2 weeks' notice from the client to terminate the contract with the Sennie and SENNIES. We understand that flexibility is important, so if you wish to continue working with a Sennie after the termination of the SENNIES contract or if you require overtime for one month, please inform us, and we will provide you with the necessary information and billing details.
Payment Terms and Collection: Our hourly rate covers all-inclusive expenses, including tax, administrative fees, holiday pay, sick pay, our fees, the employment companies fees and the Sennie's wages. The employment company ensures compliance with employment regulations, alleviating administrative burdens for both the client and SENNIES. Payments are collected monthly in advance through an automatic Direct Debit system, making the process seamless and hassle-free.
Expertise and Experience: While part-time roles may have certain limitations compared to full-time positions, rest assured that all part-time Sennies provided by SENNIES have a minimum of 2 years of SEN experience in either a school or home environment. If you require a Sennie with specialised expertise or qualifications, higher rates per hour may apply, or you may consider hiring a full-time Sennie whereby you get to interview candidates and choose the person yourself.
Sennie Pay Rise and Professional Growth: At SENNIES, we are committed to supporting the professional growth of our Sennies. We offer free and discounted online and accredited training to all placed Sennies and incorporate a yearly pay rise into their salary, ensuring their continuous development without any additional cost to the client.
We are confident that our part-time Sennie service will provide the flexibility and exceptional care your child deserves. With our thorough selection process, simplified employment structure, and commitment to professional growth, you can trust SENNIES to deliver outstanding support for your family's needs.
